Inside the Cottage
Entrance
Beneath a glowing canopy of twinkling lights, a woodland tunnel draws you into a world where magic is real and Christmas wishes take root. Here, amidst the gentle gleam of the forest, our welcoming Doorkeeper Elf waits to greet you ready to sprinkle a little festive wonder and guide your steps on the enchanted journey to meet Santa himself
Elves’ Bedroom
Crossing the threshold of the cottage, you are welcomed into the cozy, chaotic hideaway of Santa’s most mischievous Elves. A whirlwind of festive merrymaking has clearly swept through their bedroom—colourful clothes dangle from lampshades, crinkly sweet wrappers litter the floor, and untidy piles of half-wrapped presents peek out from under every bed. They certainly are a messy gang! Unlike well-behaved little believers, these silly Elves leave a trail of laughter and untidiness wherever they go as they gear up for the big night
The Spirit of Christmas
Stepping further into the cottage, you meet the gentle Elf who holds the very heart and soul of the Spirit of Christmas. Radiating warmth and festive joy, this enchanting guardian is in charge of awarding official Nice List Certificates to all the deserving boys and girls. Beside them sits Santa’s most prized treasure: his legendary, lock-bound Christmas trunk. If you’ve been on your absolute best behaviour, you might just get a fleeting, magical peek at the glowing wonders hidden inside
Santa’s Sitting Room
At last, the moment every heart has been waiting for has arrived—it is time to step into Santa’s cozy, firelit holiday sitting room for your private audience with the Big Man himself. He has been eagerly looking forward to your visit all day long, ready to marvel at how much you’ve grown, listen intently to your fondest Christmas dreams, and share a few quiet, joyful laughs. With plenty of time for cherished family photographs to capture the magic forever, Santa will wrap up your unforgettable meeting by handing a very special, handcrafted gift to everyone on the Nice List

The most wonderful time of the year has finally arrived, and we are so thrilled to welcome you to Santa’s holiday residence at the Golden Gate Cottage! Your journey into the heart of Christmas begins under a magical woodland canopy, guided by a glowing pathway of twinkling lights.
Before you reach the Big Man himself, an unforgettable, intimate adventure awaits inside the cottage. You will have to rumble your way through the mischievous Elves’ bedroom—just keep an eye out so you don’t get buried under a pile of smelly socks!
Once you escape the clutter, you’ll meet the enchanting Elf who holds the true Spirit of Christmas. You are sure to fall in love with their gentle warmth and festive joy as they share a peek inside Santa’s secret Travelling Trunk and present each deserving child with an official Nice List Certificate.
Finally, the moment every believer has been waiting for: your private time with Santa in his cozy sitting room. Santa truly loves this magical season and has been eagerly looking forward to spending time with you. There will be plenty of space for sharing stories, quiet laughter, and Christmas wishes—plus time to capture beautiful family photographs to treasure forever. Before you say goodbye, Santa has a very special, handcrafted gift waiting for every little believer.

Welcome to Santa’s holiday residence at the Golden Gate Cottage! To help make your experience as smooth and magical as possible, please take a moment to review these handy tips before you arrive.
Arrival & Timing
Please arrive 5 minutes before your booked slot and check in with our Doorkeeper Elf in the Woodland Tunnel.
Duration
The experience lasts approximately 20 minutes.
Running to schedule
We do our best to stay on time, but each child reacts differently to the magic! We appreciate your patience and understanding if there is a short delay.
Running Late?
Accessibility & Inclusive Visits ("AsIAm")
Our music is kept low and our lights gentle to create a calm atmosphere.
Please inform the check-in Elf on arrival so we can provide you with an AsIAm lanyard and ensure your family gets any extra time or support needed.
Preparation & Buggies
Accessibility: Specially adapted buggies and mobility units are always fully accommodated inside.
Parking & Travel
Santa’s "Elf Reports"
Download and print your free Elf Report from the Christmas in Killarney website.
Fill it out in advance and hand it to the check-in Elf when you arrive.
