Autism Friendly Viewing

We will have an Autism Friendly viewing area available at Áras Phádraig (on Lewis Road) for the magic parade. Our Champion businesses also have Sensory boxes in each of their premises if you need to avail of this service. Please ask and they will be happy to help to the best of their capability.

Autism Friendly & Accessible Viewing

Accessible Viewing to Main Street

After the hugely successful introduction of the Autism Friendly area at our Christmas in Killarney Magic Parades last year, we would like to take the opportunity to begin introducing further supports in order to make our festival more Autism Friendly.  Be patient with us, we are all learning, but together we can raise awareness of Autism in Ireland, we can help everyone to have the #samechance to enjoy our festival and we can ensure, that year on year, we will improve.  After all, we all deserve to have the #samechance.

Bringing the magic to those who can’t come to town…

In 2023 the Christmas in Killarney elves diverted the parade to pass through St. Columbanus Nursing Home, bringing the magic to those who were unable to make it to town.
